It might look like seeking approval through relationships or work.

My coaching helps you develop a stronger sense of self and to become more comfortable being seen. It helps you build a life that reflects your own values rather than the expectations of others.
Many gay men struggle with loneliness, low confidence, and a sense that they're never quite enough to get the personal relationship or achieve the professional goals they deserve.
It might look like seeking approval through relationships or work.
Or struggling to set boundaries, people-pleasing, comparison, or feeling that no matter what you do, it's never quite enough.
Patterns like these aren't personal failings. They're often the result of feeling different, judged, or rejected.
And over time, hiding parts of yourself can leave you feeling disconnected from who you really are and what you truly want.

Let me introduce myself. I’m a coach for gay men. I’m originally from the U.K. but I currently live in Portugal.
In my spare time, I’m usually found walking my dog, at the beach, listening to music, or doing something cultural.
Meet Russell ↗I help gay men build greater self-acceptance, self-trust, and emotional resilience. Together, we'll explore what matters most to you, clarify your values, and create a life that feels authentic, fulfilling, and aligned with who you are.
This isn't about fitting into a particular image, chasing approval, or performing to feel accepted. It isn't about becoming someone else. It's about becoming more fully yourself.
When you develop a stronger foundation of self-worth, everything else tends to improve. Relationships become healthier. Boundaries become clearer. Career decisions become easier. Confidence grows naturally because it comes from within, not from external validation.
My goal is to help you build a life you're proud of, where your happiness, confidence, and sense of worth come from knowing and valuing yourself. And everything else will follow.
As a gay man, I have experienced many of the struggles that are common in our community today. I’ve seen it, been it, and got the t-shirt as they say. I've spent much of my life learning how to listen to my own voice rather than following a script.
I use the active listening skills I have learned over the years and powerful questioning to help gay men learn more about themselves and discover what would truly bring them fulfilment in life.
My approach combines curiosity, compassion, and practical coaching. I won't tell you who you should be or how you should live your life. Instead, I'll help you develop a deeper understanding of yourself, challenge the beliefs and patterns that may be holding you back, and build the confidence to make choices that reflect your values.
My coaching is inclusive of neurodivergent individuals and LGBTQ+ people, offering a respectful space where you can explore your experiences, values, and goals in a safe space.
Coaching is about helping clients unlock insights that enable them to make changes that will positively affect their lives. As a coach, not only do I ask questions to help you identify patterns that might be keeping you stuck, but also once you have identified issues that might be preventing you from moving forwards, I help you to implement changes and stick to them.
If you feel stuck and would benefit from:
Then coaching is for you! Coaching can improve your quality of life and bring a sense of fulfilment for a happier and more rewarding life.
I primarily work with gay and bisexual men. I also work with other LGBTQ+ people and neurodivergent individuals. But whatever your background, if you are excited to work together to unlock your potential, clarify your values, and find peace and fulfilment in life, then let’s have a conversation about whether coaching is right for you!
